Florida ----> South Carolina

    I usually do not wake up this early in the morning to go to campus but the day that we had left for this internship trip was a day to remember. I took a photo of how beautiful the campus looked this early in the morning at around 8am. The sky was clear and the sun was hitting everything just right. My group and I were so excited to get on the road. We have 24 students attending this trip so separate vans were taken. This is my first time taking this long of a drive somewhere since I would usually take a flight if a drive is too long.
    Driving up to Lexington was definitely a scenic trip, even though I feel like I am seeing the same thing for the first 2-3 hours, the scenery definitely begins to change from the typical Florida green. It was a fun and exhausting drive so we made quick rest stops here and there. One of the memorable rest stops we made was visiting the South Carolina visitor center. While driving up there, we made sure to take quick photos of the "Welcome to South Carolina" sign on the highway before entering the Visitor Center. I included some of the photos below. I have never been to a state's visitor center so I thought that it was cute that South Carolina had little photo opportunities to show that you are in the state.
    I was able to create the rest of my blog in newspaper format where I am able to format my photos better and share tidbits of my experiences on there. I would encourage to check that out to view the rest of my experiences on trip in a fun format!
